Liheap Application 2024 Illinois. The current liheap season will begin on october 1, 2024 for seniors, families with children under 5, disabled or disconnected. Beginning october 1, 2024, income eligible liheap customers of ameren illinois, nicor gas, north shore gas and peoples gas will receive a monthly discount on their natural gas bill.

Open enrollment begins november 1, 2024. Liheap will begin accepting applications on october 1, 2024, through august 15, 2025, or until funds are exhausted.
